Dotson gets Summer Knicks a W

Dotson can drill it.
Damyean Dotson continued to be a bright spot for the summer version of the New York Knicks during the final day of play in the Orlando Summer League. Dotson emerged as the most efficient player (per minute) on a winning team for play on July 6, 2017. Dotson scored 20 points (8-11 FG, 4-7 3-pt.), grabbed nine rebounds and dished four assists in the Knicks 91-72 win over the Miami Heat.

Dotson was the 44th selection in the 2017 NBA Draft after playing at both Oregon and Houston. He is a sweet shooting 6'6", 205 lb. guard that repeatedly showed he can hit jumpers at NBA speed within the structure of an offense.

The BIG game of the day was the Orlando Summer League championship game. It went to overtime with the Dallas Mavericks prevailing 83-81 over the Detroit Pistons. Johnathan Motley, a undrafted rookie, hit the game winning mid range jump shot.
