Kaba dominates on "consolation day"

Alpha was top dog Friday
The second Friday of play in the Las Vegas NBA Summer League is annually a day for the hardest of the hard core basketball fans. All the teams playing Friday had already been eliminated from championship contention. As such, the majority of teams go DEEP into their roster to give the underdog prospects one last chance to shine.

Alpha Kaba, who was receiving minimal minutes before Friday, took his opportunity to play over half of the game (24 minutes), and he responded with a big performance. Kaba scored 14 points (4-9 FG, 6-8 FT), grabbed 15 rebounds, and had three assists, two steals, and four blocked shots in the Atlanta Hawks 97-81 win over the Los Angeles Clippers. Kaba is a 6'10", 22 year-old Center from France that was the last selection (pick 60) in the 2017 NBA Draft. He played in France in 2017-18.
