Whitmore limitless on day three in Vegas

Cam Whitmore, a second year wing for the Houston Rockets, was the most productive player Sunday across eight NBA Las Vegas Summer League games. Whitmore scored 25 points (9-15 FG, 0-3 3-pt., 7-10 FT) and added 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 5 steals in 30 minutes. The Rockets dumped the Washington Wizards 109-91.

Marcus Sasser (pictured below) scored 40 points (16-25 FG, 5-9 3-pt. FG, 3-3 FT) Sunday for the Detroit Pistons in their 100-85 win over Indiana. Sasser, the 25th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, added three rebounds and five assists in 30 minutes. He was the most productive player across eight games. The two semi-final Vegas Summer League games were won by Cleveland, and Houston. They will meet for the Championship tomorrow at 6 pm. The game will air on ESPN.

Orlando Robinson is the star of Saturday

Orlando Robinson, a second year Center for the Miami Heat was the star of stars Saturday in NBA Summer League. Eight games were contested between the the Thomas & Mack Center and the Cox Pavilion. Robinson scored 36 points (13-22 FG, 3-4 3-pt. FG, 7-8 FT), and added eleven rebounds, four assists, and two blocked shots in 33 minutes. Miami beat Boston 99-88.
