Matt Thomas shoots the lights out Saturday

Matt Thomas (pictured), an undrafted rookie from Iowa State, was the most efficient player on a winning team during action Saturday at the NBA Las Vegas Summer League. The 6'4" shooting guard scored 17 points (6-9 FG, 3-4 3-pt., 2-2 FT), grabbed 8 rebounds, and snared two steals in 28 minutes. The Lakers advanced to the semi-finals of the championship tournament with a 115-106 win over the Brooklyn Nets. ...Also advancing with wins: Portland, Memphis and Dallas.
