Hornets win the ring. Small has big day

The Charlotte Hornets won the Las Vegas NBA Summer League Championship Sunday. Their 83-78 win over the Sacramento Kings took place at the Thomas & Mack Center on the UNLV campus. Only three games were played Sunday. 

Javon Small was the most productive player on a winning team. Small, the 48th pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, led the Memphis Grizzlies to a 105-82 win over the L.A. Clippers. Small scored 17 points (5-9 FG, 3-5 3-pt., 4-4 FT), while adding four rebounds and nine assists in 22 minutes. 

Joining Small on the Hoop Obsession All-Summer League Team for Sunday July 20th: 

Isaac Jones - Kings. 24 points (10-17 FG, 1-1 3-pt., 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds, 2 assists in 28 mins. 

Jordan Miller - Clippers. 24 points (8-11 FG, 2-2 3-pt., 6-6 FT), 6 rebounds, 2 assists in 27 mins. 

Tyler Burton - Grizzlies. 20 points (8-14 FG, 2-4 3-pt., 2-2 FT), 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals in 23 mins. 

Ryan Kalkbrenner - Hornets. 15 points (5-6 FG, 1-1 3-pt., 4-5 FT), 9 rebounds in 28 mins.
