Norchad Omier was the most productive player during the ninth day of play, also known as Consolation Day, at the NBA Las Vegas Summer League. Omier scored 20 points (8-10 FG, 2-2 3-pt., 1-1 FT), with 15 rebounds, five assists, and one steal in 26 minutes. His Los Angeles Clippers team beat the Minnesota Timberwolves, 128-120, in overtime. The 24-year-old Omier went undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft, then performed well in the G League and earned an opportunity with the Clippers. He made his NBA debut on March 2, 2026, becoming the first Nicaraguan-born player to appear in an NBA game.
