Stokes super strong Friday

The third day of the 2018 NBA G-League Winter Showcase was a personal showcase for Jarnell Stokes. The rugged BIG for the Sioux Fall SkyForce only missed three field goal attempts, going 11-14 FG, and 2-2 FT for 24 points in 27 minutes. He also grabbed nine rebounds. The SkyForce cracked the Maine Red Claws 114-94. 

Other standout players on day three of the Showcase included...

Raphael Putney  - Sioux Falls. 19 points, 10 rebounds, 2 blocked shots in 22 minutes. 

Angel Delgado - Agua Caliente. 13 points, 15 rebounds, 3 assists, 5 blocked shots in 27 minutes.

Jordan Loyd - Raptors 905. 33 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds, 7 steals in 39 minutes. 

Chimezie Metu - Austin. 24 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists in 29 minutes. 

CJ Fair - Windy City. 26 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocked shots in 35 minutes. 

Scotty Hopson - Oklahoma City. 20 points, 8 rebounds in 28 minutes. 

Jordan Siebert - Erie. 34 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals in 39 minutes. 

Lavoy Allen - Capital City. 17 points, 9 rebounds, 2 blocked shots in 29 minutes. 

Abdul Gaddy - Oklahoma City. 10 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists, 3 steals in 29 minutes. 

Jordan McRae - Capital City. 30 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals in 37 minutes. 

Deonte Burton - Oklahoma City. 16 points, 3 rebounds in 23 minutes.

Deyonta Davis leads Grizzlies to road win.

The Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Utah Jazz 95-92 in the best game of day two of the 2018 NBA Summer League.  Deyonta Davis, a 6'11" pivot for Memphis, was the most efficient player on a winning team. Davis, headed into his third season in the NBA, scored 17 points and grabbed six rebounds in 23 minutes. He only missed one field goal attempt, going 8 for 9, and he made his one free throw opportunity.
