Jalen Adams closes Winter Showcase with a big performance

The Salt Lake City Stars (Utah Jazz) were crowned NBA G-League Winter Showcase champions Sunday. Salt Lake City defeated the Grand Rapids Drive (Detroit Pistons) 91-88 in overtime at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Members of the Stars will split the $100,000 first place prize. Salt Lake City is riding a 13-game winning streak. 

Jalen Adams was the most efficient player (per-minute) on a winning team during the final day of play at the Showcase. Adams, of the Erie Bayhawks (Pelicans affiliate), scored 37 points (15-21 FG, 4-6 3-pt., 2-2 FT), with nine rebounds and four assists in 33 minutes. Erie defeated Greensboro 112-102.
