Robert Baker shines on consolation day

Six consolation games were on the docket Friday in the NBA Summer League. Robert Baker, of the Indiana Pacers, was the most productive player. Baker scored 26 points (11-18 FG, 4-10 3-pt., 0-1 FT) while adding ten rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocked shots. Baker played 26 minutes. The Pacers beat the New Orleans Pelicans 113-104. Baker is a 27 year-old, 6'10" forward, that is an unrestricted free agent. 

All six games were played at the Thomas and Mack Events Center on the UNLV campus. Joining Baker on the Hoop Obsession All-Summer League Team for July 18th: 

Javon Freeman-Liberty. Bulls - 22 points (8-14 FG, 2-6 3-pt., 4-4 FT), 9 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocked shots in 29 mins. 

Tyrese Samuel - Nets. 19 points (8-10 FG, 1-2 3-pt., 2-3 FT), 12 rebounds, 2 assists in 29 mins. 

Curtis Jones - Nuggets. 22 points (9-16 FG, 4-9 3-pt., 0-1 FT), 5 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 steals in 29 mins. 

Yuki Kawamura - Bulls. 20 points (6-11 FG, 6-9 3-pt., 2-2 FT), 4 rebounds, 10 assists, 2 steals in 27 mins. 

Vlad Goldin - Heat. 18 points (7-10 FG, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds, 4 blocked shots in 22 mins. 

Cody Williams - Jazz. 26 points (9-17 FG, 5-10 3-pt., 3-5 FT), 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals in 32 mins. 

Enrique Freeman - Pacers. 14 points (7-8 FG, 0-3 FT), 10 rebounds, 2 blocked shots in 28 mins. 

Aliou Diarra - Mavs. 12 points (4-4 FG, 4-6 FT), 11 rebounds, 2 assists in 14 mins. 

Mark Armstrong - Sixers. 23 points (7-16 FG, 2-5 3-pt., 7-9 FT), 7 rebounds, 2 assists in 24 mins. 

Jeremiah Fears - Pelicans. 22 points (7-16 FG, 1-5 3-pt., 7-10 FT), 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals in 27 mins. 

Matthew Cleveland - Mavs. 17 points (6-11 FG, 1-2 3-pt., 4-4 FT), 4 rebounds, 2 steals in 25 mins.
